I don't know why my mama always make dinner so hard. She always has a million ingredients, and it takes her all day to make some fancy meal that we can barely pronounce. But school is starting up again, and I need something quick and easy to make so I can get to my homework. So, I went online to find some easy dinner ideas and came across these two that I'm going to try:
Easy Dinner Ideas For Back To School
What you'll need:
Chicken breasts
2 cups of your favorite bbq sauce
1/2 onion diced
1/2 red bell pepper diced
1 tbsp of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Cooked rice
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat.
Add onion and bell pepper and cook until soft about 5 minutes
Season chicken with salt and pepper
Move the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add chicken breasts to the other
Cook chicken, browning on both sides, until cooked through, about 5 minutes each side
Pour the bbq sauce over chicken and turn chicken to make sure both sides are coated in sauce
Cook chicken in sauce for another 5-10 minutes until sauce has thickened a little and chicken is nice and coated
Serve over rice.
